British Columbia Is Burning — Right Now.
Fast-moving wildfires have forced thousands of people from their homes and damaged communities across British Columbia. The province has confirmed significant losses of homes and property, and officials could not immediately assess the full damage because the area remained an active fire zone.
On August 8, British Columbia declared a State of Provincial Emergency.
This isn't a story from last summer. It's happening now.
Imagine Leaving Without Knowing What You'll Come Home To.
For evacuees, wildfire can mean leaving home with little notice — then waiting to learn what happened to the house, the business, the medication left behind, the animals, or the community they know. Current relief efforts include emergency accommodation, health-care access, emergency prescription medication, mental-health support, and help for farmers and ranchers whose land and livestock are at risk. British Columbia has also requested federal assistance, with the Canadian Armed Forces standing by in direct coordination with the province.
That's where action matters.
We Can't Stop the Fire.
We Can Choose Our Response.
Our mission is to inspire 1000 Angels to take meaningful action. No required donation amount. No money passes through Angels in Action. Every person chooses what action feels right.
Angels in Action does not accept, collect, process, hold, transfer, or distribute donations. Donations are completed directly through the independently operated official relief organization's website. Angels in Action receives no fee, commission, percentage, referral payment, or financial benefit from donations. No required donation amount. No donation is required to access the free resources or participate in the awareness campaign.
Donations are made directly to the Canadian relief organization. If you are outside Canada, your bank or card issuer may apply currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees. Tax treatment varies by country. Gifts to Canadian charities are generally not deductible on a U.S. federal income tax return unless specific U.S.–Canada treaty requirements apply. Consult a qualified tax professional regarding your circumstances.
You Don't Have to Live in British Columbia to Stand With Someone Who Does.
People from around the world can choose to stand with communities facing disaster.
